Rice increases to cover ZTE scandal? - June 14, 2008 -

Lots of Filipinos are having hard time to fall in line with the enormously heat of the sun for just 2 kilo of NFA rice, they cannot buy more of it because of the rice control that imposed by Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to prevent shortage of rice. Rice today are so high -priced that at some locations, a 100 peso bill ($2.31 equivalent in the current dollar value) is only 1 ¾ kilo of non-NFA rice. NFA rice is very much cheaper than non-NFA rice, which is why people are going after NFA rice.

For just a few weeks, people already don’t remember ZTE scandal anymore, for people are struggling and fighting for food, their focuses are now diverted to everyday increase of rice price. Who cares about ZTE if every stomach of Filipinos is starving? Does this increases of prices of rice, oils, and electrical bills are their tactics to convert the attention of ever Filipinos? If this is their tactics, they’re killing lots of people in starvation. Is it the right attitude of a great leader? Sacrificing lots of people for self-preservation? Filipinos now are dying!

Life’s A Joke - April 28, 2008 -

Few weeks ago, a left my home. I go to somewhere else that my family won’t bother me, away from people that I love.

I refresh with the great joke’s of life. Somethings in life there is up’s and down that will help us learn more on our daily struggles. My funny story start with when someone broke my heart, a word fight with my sister and my mother get disturb with my lifestyle.

Maybe I’ll tell you more sometime, on how my funny memories of my sorrowful life. Now I’m planning to go home. I hope this life’s Joke will be over.

The calls for President Arroyo to resign are mounting. In behalf of all my inarticulate friends, relatives and lovers, I call on Madame President to heed the call of the people. It is time to go.

She has destroyed any semblance of fair play in the Philippine electoral process. This was revealed to the people through the ‘Hello Garci’ tapes; and now, through the huge kick backs allegedly for then Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Chair Ben Abalos.

She has destroyed whatever semblance of normal electoral process in Muslim Mindanao. The ‘Hello Garci’ tapes showed to all and sundry that Mindanao elections are controlled by Manila politicians, military and government officials. The tapes even presented how top government officials planned the cheating — including kidnapping Moro civilians.

In the last senatorial elections, the government made a mockery of elections in Muslim Mindanao, especially in Maguindanao Province. There were missing election returns, empty ballot boxes, etc. and no one was prosecuted.

She has destroyed any semblance of independence of the House of Representatives through her overthrowing of the supposedly powerful House Speaker Jose de Venecia. She also had thwarted three impeachments attempts against her.

She has destroyed whatever credibility the Civil Service has. The outgoing Civil Service Commission Chair Karina Davd revealed that she (PGMA) stuffed the bureaucracy with retired military and police officials as well as other unqualified political appointees. Jun Lozada revealed that a hundred million dollar or so project study was based on figures taken from a tabloid. And the Director-General of the highest economic planning body of the government (NEDA) said that his staff tried to verify a 300 million dollar project by going to the Internet and came up with nothing.
If 300 million dollar project studies are based on tabloid figures and verifed by our technocrats through Internet research alone, then how can we even hope to progress as a nation?

She has destroyed the people’s perception of supposedly pro-people, pro-freedom political icons like Senators Joker Arroyo and Miriam Defensor-Santiago. These senators had to defend her presidency despite the mounting evidence of corruption.

Battle of the Bands - February 26, 2008 -

I love to watch live bands, i actually love to be one of a member of an alternative band that perform at the front of many viewer.

I was once a part of a band and I play keyboard, but now I’m just one of their audiences. We are now planning to start a new band but we have not started practicing yet with my friends.

For a meantime I play keyboard at our church.

But today, I am invited to watch a battle of the band at University of Mindanao at Davao City Philippines 6:00pm.

It’s just a battle between students of that University but I love to watch it.

Jun Lozada - February 25, 2008 -

Do you think that Jun Lozada is lying? :?:

“Philippines are questioning..”

Without a lie I’m telling you right now that I think his not lying.

We don’t know whether its true or not, but one thing for sure, doing his heroic confession with a curse for him and his families lives is very very amazing. I think Jun Lozada’s statements are more believable than those statements from the mouth of Chavit Singson.

Hope that nothing happens and may God help Jun Lozada and his family.

This is why I don’t want to vote any politicians because I know lots of them cannot be trusted. How can we trust them when they’ll just like a thieves in front of us that looks like a great famous person but corrupting when no one knew.

Planning for a vacation - February 25, 2008 -

For several days of sitting here - always online - i feel bore and need time for a vacation. I want to go somewhere else like, like hanging out with my friends or spent my time on beach at Palau or Boracay, or some famous site that can relax my mind. Or maybe going to Venice stay at one of their luxury hotel in Venice or going to Australia surfing.

Or else going at The Philippine Eagle at Calinan, Davao City which has a lot of rare and endangered Philippines Eagles, a beautiful view that can relax my bored life.

I also has a plan to go to my friends at Digos City were I enjoy fishing with them and going on beach and eat some polboron, i miss my friend.

Or going at Tagum City just visiting my friends their, Tagum City are celebrating their Musikahan Festival today… I love to watch but I’m here online now, maybe next Musikahan Festival i’ll visit their…

Whatever and wherever I decide to go I’m sure it will be fun and will relax my mind.
